We Knew You Are Queer, Adam Lambert!
Maybelline boy, Adam Lambert has finally step out of his fancy closet, officially of course. I believe all of us have already known about this “shocking” news right? This make-up wearing American Idol star has put an end the guessing game over his sexual orientation by confirming that he is indeed a queer, a cupcake, a twinkie, a dykey or to make it simple GAY! He told Rolling Stone magazine about his fetish for the male. Yucks! Haha 
But heck, at least he is being frank about it and not hiding his skeleton in his gaudy wardrobe.
This 27 years old rocker who finished second fiddle to boy-next-door Kris Allen in the latest edition of American Idol told Rolling Stone he had been living openly as a homo for several years. It seems that he is very receptive about himself huh! This is what Lambert told the world, “I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear I’m gay. I’ve been living in LA for 8 years as a gay man. I’ve been at clubs drunk making out with somebody in the corner.” Wow! He make out with guys openly? He is a show-off after all. Damn! Did you see this coming? LOL
Lambert has wowed Simon and friends with his stunning vocal range and he was seen as the favourite to claim the AI title. But in the end Adam was defeated in a match of votes between the conservative values of “red states” represented by Arkansas-based Allen and the liberal mores of “blue states” embodied by the exuberant Lambert. I guess that’s why Adam lost…because he is a freaking gay.
Guess what? Adam even joked that he had been spellbound by Idol rival Allen, who he shared a room with during the series (Hmm…did anything happened between them?). Here’s what Adam said, “He’s the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type except that he has a wife. I mean he’s open-minded and liberal, but he’s definitely 100% straight!” Awww….too bad right Adam? Kris’ wife must be worried right now.
Obviously, Adam’s family and a lot of his friends and fans knew about the dark side of his moon. Yet, they still accepted and voted him. Of course plenty still believe that Lambert is a blasphemy, a sacrilege, a profanity! Hence they voted for Kris as a strong signal to the world that a Gay is still not accepted in the society.
So how about you guys? Can you accept a friend who is a gay? Can you befriend someone who has problem with his/her sexual orientation? What if one day he/she falls in love with you?Frankly I don’t know how I will react until..one of my best friend told me he is a gay. And he even confessed to me that he has a crush on me. Back then I was not surprised at all. I’m cool with it. After that confession, I remain his very best friend till today. I know it is hard to be abnormal…sometimes people just reject you…How about you guys? What will you do if your pal turn out to be a gay?
